My research sits where people meet machines. I work on human-computer interaction, computer vision, privacy-preserving AI, and the behavioral analysis of large language models, asking how these systems behave when the stakes, and the social pressures, are real.

I assist professors across the computer science curriculum at the University of Dayton: Java, Operating Systems, Visual Computing, Computer Networks, and more. I also mentor undergraduates on research projects, and keeps the fundamentals honest.

Outside the research, I make art and watch films, read fiction, and write about the intersection of technology and culture. I admire renaissance polymaths, and I aspire to be one myself.

Lab

Schema is a tool I built for drawing research diagrams: pipeline figures and flow charts, drawn by hand or generated from a few lines of text. It runs in the browser with no build step.
